DeAndre is a bitch for this one, no question. It really feels like he did all of this to get the Clippers' attention. He's a needy bitch who had to see Chris Paul come crying back to him before he could finalize his decision, on some weak ass chick flick Notebook shit.
That said, this honestly kind of feels like karma for Cuban. Dude is one of the best owners in NBA, hands down, as far as the passion he brings and the standard he holds his organization to. But he also gets fined annually for tampering, he blew up his own championship team in some bizarre scheme to get Deron Williams and Dwight Howard only to whiff horribly, then brings back that same squad years later only to ruin it by trading a first rounder for Rondo, then let's his free agents walk AGAIN before he could even speak to DeAndre in hopes of landing him with no backup plan whatsoever... almost worked though lol.
Oh, and he also played a key role crying to the NBA when the Chris Paul trade went down until the NBA reneged that deal. I hate that this type of bullshit happens but I gotta say, this particular case does feel like poetic justice in an odd way.
Regardless though, the NBA is guaranteed to change its stupid ass moratorium rules now, as they should. Don't let people negotiate period until the salary cap is set, so they can sign contracts right then and there. This isn't the first time this shit has happened and it won't be the last unless they change it.
