I'm new here and don't know how to upload YouTube videos but if you type that in you'll find the video from his concert in Vegas I went to on my channel haven't seen it posted so wanted to spread the love....

You know what bro I've been following this forum for like 2 years...you're the biggest Quik fan I've seen on here besides my self glad someone else appreciates his genius...this goes mad hard especially his second verse and the beat live was incredible the CDQ version will be dope...I heard from around the way this is supposed to be on the EP with Quik,Hi-C,and suga free which needs to drop before summer is over real talk

Very dope song.

Sounds like it has a sample of Sexual Healing in it?

Also, it's funny to me that Quik is releasing music with Hi-C right now, yet at the HOB show, Quik treated Hi-C like he was a nobody, not letting him even rap a verse on stage. Quik should promote the nigga if he's going to put out new music with him.

It's actually been out since March when he held his concert at the Brookyln Bowl in Las Vegas,I had attempted to put it up here but verifying my account took forever so I uploaded it to YouTube where it's been for a month...from the track being played in the background over the live performance the CDQ is going to be dope I've just been waiting 4 months for it to drop hopefully it doesn't become another "Fresher Than Me"

Song is dope!  One thing I don't like about Quik is how wishy-washy he is.  He'll put all kinds of stuff in the vaults.  With Quik, I've come to realize the longer you wait for a song to come out, the less likely it ever will.  The only reason we got a bunch of leaks like we did back in the day was because he had the Way Too Fonky radio show he used to premiere stuff on.  Otherwise, a bunch of other classics would have never seen the light of day either.  There's really no outlet for these unreleased songs to leak anymore.  I'll give him this, whoever he's got in his camp is very trusted, because very few things leak from his vaults these days.

That would be crazy!  Wish he'd appreciate his past instead of getting upset at people who want to hear his old unreleased stuff.  Maybe if he got his own internet radio show or something someday it might happen.

That's the best song never released instead of a radio show he should do like how he did on "da finale" with streetz is callin and release like a best of on 1 disc and a "vault" disc for the second...remixes,unreleased tracks,even instrumentals I know people would buy it not the masses but fans like us would cherish it haha I know I would...

The thing is I've noticed that people who appreciate quiks artistry are pretty serious about listening to his music be will give anything he puts out a few spins...most rappers don't have that loyal of a fanbase from back then...he's missing out on some concrete dough...could you imagine the track list for the unreleased disc? Have it separates into sections like "safe&sound era" "book of David era" chronologically divide them? It would be like stepping into a time machine dudes who are stuck on his olds hits will be curious and dudes thirsting for new material would have it...this has to happen haha
