does not really answer my question

JUST THE FACT THAT THIS ALBUM HAS AN INSANE AMOUNT OF BRIDGES AND BREAKDOWNS......THE BRIDGE IS A LOST ARTFORM IN THE CURRENT STATE OF HIP-HOP. IF THIS ALBUM WAS MARKETED MORE, HAD SINGLES, VIDEOS, ETC. YOU'D SEE THE COMMERCIAL ARTISTS GRAVITATING TOWARDS THIS FORMULA. IT'S SIMPLY NOT BEIN PUSHED ENOUGH TO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE THAT IT HAS POTENTIAL TO.

whats "bridges and breakdowns"?

lol did u listen 2 the album?

Sccit

I FEEL U....WELL, A BRIDGE IS SOMETHIN, USUALLY A MELODY, THAT CONNECTS A VERSE AND A CHORUS. TODAYS RAP TYPICALLY DONT HAVE BRIDGES, BUT THIS ALBUM IS FILLED WIT THEM.

bigpimpin20

so for example in Genocide where bridge starts?

THIS IS A UNIQUE EXAMPLE OF A BRIDGE, BECAUSE THE TRACK ACTUALLY STARTS WIT A BRIDGE AS OPPOSED TO A VERSE, WHICH IS UNTRADITIONAL...THAT PART CANDACE PILLAY SINGS RIGHT AFTER THE INITIAL CHORUS TO SET THE TRACK OFF.

hmm on which track its easier to catch?

Sccit

hmm on which track its easier to catch?

FOR INSTANCE, "ALL IN A DAYS WORK"

"Work, hard
Workin' so hard
24/7, 3-6-5
365, hard work
It's all in a day's work"

^ THAT WOULD BE THE BRIDGE

bigpimpin20

ok i got it, props 8)

I even consider it a bridge when Dre does something like on "Talk About It" where the beat chops up and Mez is like Talk ** chop chop ** Talk About It—Say What—then you got Justus singing which is probably the hook but then you got another "bridge" with.. I WANT IT ALL!!!  there's a lot of "bridges" going on all over the place on this album

Well, what is your question? Since your initial question was misquoted, feel me? You asked me something where my comment was quoted incorrectly.

JeremyM

I have listened to this album at least once a day since it came out. I love it myself. It's got a lot going on, as discussed above. To each their own, everyone that hates it is entitled, but I love it.

Yeah it's some dope bridges all over there (who does that in hip-hop other than the Dr?) but illest bridge to me is the doo wop murder singing on Genocide.
