"To Pimp A Butterfly" is a superb album. Coherent, extremely well put together and features the best rapper and writer of the moment. However, it just isn't my style, so while I do still listen to it on occassion and appreciate the work of art that it is, I just hands down prefer Compton, which is much more my style and is also an extremely well put together album. I can see why critics might prefer TPAB though.
