Finally someone speaking the truth... I am a huge Quik fan but that concert was disappointing, if I could see live Quik and he delivers like that I would be mad as fuck... he spent most of the time smoking and drinking, he rapped not even a verse per song... and that was really a stupid move because it was going live on Yahoo.

I agree also on the songs selections, he had to do "Nobody" and other recent stuff.

It's almost like Quik imagines that his fans have never seen him perform live before. How many live performances of Just Lyke Compton or Born N Raised in Compton does Quik think he has to do? I understand the fact that he performs Tonite and Let's Get Down at every show, and I like that decision, since those songs are timeless. But to me, there's no need to endlessly perform old singles that are not nearly as good as the newer singles. I'll take Nobody or Luv of My Life or Life Jacket or That Niggaz Krazy over Just Lyke Compton any day.

are me, andre, and mr theo the only one's that seemed to enjoy this performance??!! quik was out there partying like a mo fo.  playing the keys.  smokin weed.  letting us hear an unreleased el debarge song.  doing a different, really awesome version of "pitch in on party" (in which he recorded new backing vocals and printed those stems for the live show) and a slow burning "do i love her" with a sexy chica dancing on him!!!   i thought it was dope as fuck.

and i believe he was being facetious when he said 'this ecstasy is great!' considering hi-c starting laughing immediately afterwards.  but anyhoots, to each his own.
