This is just Hogan being Hogan. He's always been a dick and always blamed someone else for it. Just a few years ago he blamed the passenger of the car crash his son had for the crash based only one the idea that the other kid was a bad person and deserved it.

Hold on, Hulk Hogan, lied? My opinion, it's easy. Hulk Hogan is always working and always trying to get himself over. I honestly don't think he even realizes he's not working anymore.

BUT, if you are to tell me that someone growing up in the south, in a poor neighborhood, in the 50's and 60's didn't hear the N-word thrown around a lot, I have VERY hard time believing you.
