Interview with Greg Kading by Darris Love (can be found n the TruthAboutTupac Movement youtube channel).
Around the 13:00 minute mark Greg mentions that Suge agreed that Biggie could perform at Club 662, but Puffy wanted a percentage of the door money (Greg mentions 50%). Suge took this as a insult. (Club 662 opened in spring/summer of 95 according to what Nina Bhadreshwar says "And Club 662 in Las Vegas which I helped set up in July 1995")
Would explain why Suge said the things he did at the Source Awards in August 95. That was way before Jake Robles incident in September.
