There seems to be some errors in the data. I found one right away. DJ Quik has TWO platinum albums: Quik is the Name and Rhythmalism.

Pretty interesting list nonetheless.

Rhythmlism is only certified gold by RIAA

I could have sworn that I read somewhere that Rhythmalism went platinum...Quik himself might have even said it. And I agree with Theo that Safe & Sound must be approaching platinum, if it has not already surpassed it, in real terms. It's too bad they never paid for the certification.

How does Biggie have 4 platinum albums? He only released 2 albums. I guess the remix albums after his death count?

Born again and the duets count as an album...duno bout Obie, perhaps he never got certified

What about Tha Eastsidaz? Their first album went platinum, but I don't see them on the list (unless this album is included among Snoop's 8 platinum count).
