This Friday, Oct. 30th, marks the release for Los Angeles funk producer’s “Tap Water” album. Keeping the LA G-Funk tradition alive, XL Middleton draws a link between 80s Boogie and 90s G-Funk and “Tap Water” is an excellent display on how the modern funk movement continues to thrive and gain momentum.
