Contrary to what's been reported, the lymphoma wasn't the cause of death. After Treatment he got a fungus infection (in his lungs I believe) that spread so quickly they couldn't stop it.
It's a shame, he was one of my Dad's best friends growing up. Great guy, I still have a team autographed Timberwolves ball he gave me in 1995.
