Well, like I thought, if the Chargers and Rams don't come to an agreement by Feb. 1, then I think this relationship wouldn't be repaired. Mark Davis would love nothing more than to move the Raiders to the site that his father wanted the Raiders to move to, and regretted. In 1995, the Raiders were set to move to Inglewood with a $250 million stadium, but the NFL wanted them to take a second team. The Rams want a second team to share the cost of building a stadium, so if the Chargers don't move and the Raiders do, ironically it will be for the same deal Al Davis was trying to avoid in 1995, but his son now would be more than willing to.

this would be ideal

Well rumor is the league might try to price Mark Davis out of a move to LA, because the league doesn't want a return to the 90's, and Kroenke said he doesn't want the Raider fans in his new stadium. With that said, he needs help paying for it, as he's taking out billion dollar loans, and Larry Ellison might buy a piece of the Raiders to finance the move. Ellison was rumored to be a secret Raider investor if they move, and he's richer than Kroenke. If the Chargers don't move to LA, which I still think is most likely, then you'll see the Raiders/Kroenke/Ellison saga play out.

Talks are back on! I would like to be the first to welcome the LA Chargers to Los Angeles.
