Nas vows to stand by Murder Inc. in Battle

The new issue of F.E.D.S. Magazine [Vol. 3 Issue 11] hits newstands today featuring a candid interview with the embattled QB emcee, Nas. In it, Nas talks frankly about his loyalty to Murder Inc. and the possibility of stepping into the current Shady/Aftermath/Murder Inc. conflict. He also "sons" 50 Cent while applauding his success. Here's a snippet:

FEDS: What do you think of the beef between Ja Rule, 50 Cent and Eminem? Will you get involved since your down with Ja and Murder Inc.?

NAS: It is what it is, you know. It just seems like after me and Jay did it, now everybodys doing it. The sh!t's crazy. But if Ja calls on me and I see that he's out numbered, I'll handle my handle for dude, like he was there for me when I was on my rampage.

FEDS: Wow! I wasn't expecting that answer. What do you think about 50 throwing words your way, it seems he's trying to take your spot?

NAS: Man, you gotta understand, I took 50 under my wing when nobody was f#@$ing with him. Homeboy is like a son to me, and when young boys start to grow up, they tend to wanna test daddy, you know, if you can beat daddy you feel you can beat anybody. I'm not worried about 50 Cent throwing words at me, I'm just concentrating on my zone, and taking this thing only where I can take it.

FEDS: Do you think all of the success is now going to 50's head, how do you feel about the buzz that he has in the streets right now?

NAS: Like I said none of that is affecting my zone, so I don't concern myself with it, it could be possible it's happened many times before. As for his success, I always knew he would blow. He's been on the grind for a minute now. It was only a matter of time and getting the right people around him. He deserves it.

I got a lot of respect for Nas lyrically, but some of the shit that comes out of his mouth in interviews..like when he said "me and jigga had beef, now everyone wants to do it" or whatever...reminds me of P diddy claiming he came up with the idea of sampling...LMAO..rappers been dissing each other since the beginning, c'mon Nas.
