Its about time Byron becomes a college coach.  I'd suggest his alma mater but Bobby Hurley has that position.  Scott has experience with the 80's lakers on how to be winners.  He could teach the young players about work ethic, especially the type he learned under Magic & Riley.

And calling the lakers a failure is such a harsh word.  Its not like the lakers never had any success.  They're not the yams[not counting 1999-2004 or the rosenbloom era] or the clowns since the 90's..  The lakers main problem is they no longer have the 2 jerry's[Buss & West].  They're not walking through that door.  Just like the yankees without George.
