i bet someone is in the mood for droppin a vote I mean think about, you are put in the position of helpin to determine a victor of a classic battle, on top voting is soooo much fun, there was this one time in band camp, I gave this vote on this battle and that one dude actually won! it was jus so cool LOL

come on yall dont sleep!

its almost over anyway...

KVB · « **Reply #47 on:** May 22, 2003, 12:13:20 PM »

I was really unsure about this one... it's so close, but if I'd have to pick a winner I would say Illicit got the SLIGHT edge here. Nice verse though Kill... you first line was probably the best in this entire battle. It's a close call... but Illicit got this.

Vote = Illicit

Kill · « **Reply #48 on:** May 22, 2003, 02:25:54 PM »

vote's appreciated KVB, but (especially cause you was in MD too) I'd like to see an actual explanation (you didn't say WHAT gave Illicit that "slight edge")...thx for votin, but plz explain

'Illicit' · « **Reply #49 on:** May 22, 2003, 02:47:48 PM »

yeh homie, an explanation would be adequate.

KVB · « **Reply #50 on:** May 25, 2003, 01:49:36 AM »

Illicit had the better verse, plain and simple. Keywords = flow, punches.

Kill · « **Reply #51 on:** May 25, 2003, 03:33:31 AM »

well, ok. The keywords made it an explanation, moreorless

3-2 Illicit

T.J. · « **Reply #52 on:** May 25, 2003, 04:46:23 PM »

ooohweee this is a close battle

could go either way depending on a few votes

Kill · « **Reply #53 on:** May 26, 2003, 03:19:49 AM »

coulda been a KO...thank you Lost lol

....

'Illicit' · « **Reply #54 on:** May 26, 2003, 07:09:42 AM »

i hope you wont be too resentful homie lol in case I should win, but then again, rules were detailed votes you gotta agree on that... plus I advised him to redo it so its actually fair.. but come on yall we need more votes in this!!!

Kill · « **Reply #55 on:** May 26, 2003, 08:25:26 AM »

lol, it's cool homie, i was just playin...nobody can always win...but yet it's 3-2 and not over...

T.J. · « **Reply #56 on:** May 28, 2003, 03:52:01 AM »

Kill: nice verse you but I have to agree with others in saying your multis were a little off. Nice personals and shit flowed well
tight lines

"don't drop, or you fail-in-this-test, I got harsh-strengths, who takes you serious when identical bar-length is ya only way-to-success"

"Illicit droppin shit fa us to reject-and-laugh-at-it, bitch forgot n wanna get "beaten again" like "Alzheimer infected-masochists"// "

you could have had this battle in the bag with better use of multis and some of the stuff wasnt exactly easy to understand without reading your explanation at the end.
good verse though 4.2/5

Illicit: dope verse too. u had a lot more time to write your verse though since you dropped much later than Kill. good flow and a hard hitting verse. i think you were just more consistent than Kill. Kill started off well but wavered in the middle while your verse was pretty much consistent throughout.
4.35/5

close battle though
vote- illicit

Alright, this battle was tight. What was I sleeping on... lol. Oh well, this is how I see it. When I read Kill, it was tight, nice hard hitting lyrics, but I was kind of bored. When I read Illicit, I read it, and wanted to jack some lyrics... lol. That's not the first time though, but I read it, and wished I would have came up with some of that shit. Kill was tight, but in the end, Illicit came better.

Vote... AND NEW MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!

Illicit.
