Basketball threads used to blow up on here.. guess nobody cares if it isn't Lakers, Kobe, or Lebron argument. But there were actually a lot of compelling storylines in this series. Enough to make me watch and I'm an ol school NBA fan, not new school. But the Durant return then injury (out for next year) thing was big, the Kawai Leonard Spurs beef then winning in Toronto thing was interesting, first Canadian championship, Boogie Cousins returning for Finals, Curry is always an exciting player to watch, Kerr is an intriguing coach, seeing if the Warriors dynasty would fall......a lot to watch for I thought there would be some multi-page thread on this one, crazy

I mean all the hype was on the Kobe vs Lebron, Sccit vs. Cham beef... then Lebron goes to the Lakers and the Lakers don't make the playoffs.... now it's dead....and I think it's too early to talk the end of the dynasty. 90's Bulls went a couple seasons in between Finals appearances and then continued their dynasty. Patriots don't win the Superbowl every year and some years the Steelers, Ravens, Broncos, may have bested them but they are still the dynasty. (Until next year when Mahomes and the Chiefs eclipse them)...it's too early, especially when they are planning to give max deals to Durant and Clay. If Durant is out all next year then they will probably not win next year, but there's no reason they can't win another championship 2 years from now and continue the dynasty. Toronto loses Kawai then they are not going to repeat, the Bucks still have to get over the hump... I don't see anybody who can clearly take the mantle from them for the next few years

But still, those issues you mention are existing on other teams as well. every team is very flawed nobody clearly dominant. So until I see a clear Patrick Mahomes Kansas City Chiefs type team emerge, I’m not ready to say its over quite yet for the Patriots, I mean the Warriors. They always find a way to add elite talent. The Warriors that is (not Patriots).
