And Souffside, I'm not saying sampling is biting, I'm saying to "rework" a track is biting, if you don't come original..
Like A1 or N*Sync redoes old tracks with no twist on it what so ever, it's clearly biting..

It's also not biting if you're intentionally "biting" to piss somebody off, IMO..
You don't need to be smart to understand that Ja Rule probably was furious after he heard how Em/50/Bus remade one of his idols biggest hits..

Nope.
There's nothing wrong with adding your twist on a remake, and maybe even take it to new heights and the next level, but if you virtually COPY the track, then it's biting.

With some remakes you can't even tell it sampled something..
