Talks About Crooked I And Death Row In General

SoHood.com : Now out there in the West Coast, there's been alot of hype surrounding Crooked I, what are your thoughts about him?


Knoc-turn'al: Crooked I is dope. He just need to get his album together and go and come out. I talked to Crooked I and Eastwood the other day they want me to get on their album. I like them dudes, them cats can really rap. Now they got lyrical talent nah' mean. It's not like they coming and can't rap. They coming and can actually rap.

SoHood.com : Ooh, so any chance we can hear that in a couple years or...


Knoc-turn'al: Of course!! I mean we just got to work it out you know. We gotta just let controversy die down and all that. Crooked I and us...Death Row and LA Confidential got no problems. So I mean of course you going to expect to hear it if we going to make it happen. But the whole point is you got to let controversy die down cause we ain't part of that.

SoHood.com: Yeah, I feel you.

SoHood.com: Crooked I said on the Jimmy Kimmel Show while freestylin' "I'm the King of the West Coast?

Knoc-turn'al: Everybody can say that they the King of the West Coast. How many hits he got?

SoHood.com: You're right (Laughin').

Knoc-turn'al: You're judge by how much hits you make nah'mean. I was percieved as The King of the West Coast. If it hada be a producer it'll be Dr. Dre and if it hada be a rapper it'll be Snoop Dogg. Ain't nobody made more hits than those two individuals on the West Coast.

SoHood.com: Yeah, I feel that.

Knoc-turn'al: I'm just gonna judge it by a person's captial they sold over hundred million records a piece by themselves nah'mean. So for me to even say that I can take that crowd. That's why Jay-Z is talkin' a bunch of junk right now. Sayin' he's the King because he sold as many records than other people back in then you know what sayin' he sold more records than Rakim right now. He sold more records than Biggie and more records than Nas so he sayin' I'm the king, it's a difference because he sold more records. Now if you gonna be sayin' I'm the King and you don't even have a fuckin' hit, what good is that? Now if you're talkin' trying to become someone you want to be. You know, I feel like I'm the King of the West Coast.


SoHood.com: What do you think about the Suge knight and Snoop Dogg on going beef?

Knoc-turn'al: I think they should let it go and make some fuckin' paper.

SoHood.com: Yeah, I feel the same way. What do you think about the recent shooting that Snoop Dogg was involved in?


Knoc-turn'al: I don't even think Suge did it. I don't know all the details but I mean I talked to Snoop and everybody else but I don't think it had nothing to do with Suge. Everybody is quick to place all the blame on Suge I don't think he did it. I don't think he had nothing to do with it.

SoHood.com: Yeah I feel that.

Knoc-turn'al: I think that was an apparent thing, how you know that Don Juan ain't livin' in somebody hood, they just got all them crips coming over there.

SoHood.com: That's True.

Knoc-turn'al: You know what I mean. Because alot Bloods don't give a Fuck about chu being a Superstar. Get out of my hood and stop congerating with all these Crips in my hood!


 

Talks About His Future Projects

SoHood.com: Any upcoming projects that you're workin' on now?

Knoc-turn'al: Yeah, I wrote five songs for Warren G next album that's coming out; I'm writing currenting for his next album which is a great thing. I got some stuff that I'ma do on Detox with Dr. Dre you know write or some different things hooks and stuff like that. I got couple army groups, I got my labelmates coming out LA Confidential crew it's going to be a great publishing year for Knoc-turn'al.
