seems like the internet is for HipHop fans.. which is dope of course but I need sumthing for other (older) music aswell

If you like Soul/Funk I recommend #old_school_soul.
It might be small but one of their bots got almost everything! That one isn't online that often though.

Loads...just use the search engine in your irc....
...dalnet used to have everything but most of that got shut down...could try n see if #mp3oldies is still around..used to be a very good channel...
...on efnet its a case of looking harder to find those channels as alot are scared of attack or prosecution.
