Yeah, but I'm 27 and have been buying this shit regularly since I was 15, so things kinda build up. Gotta have the OG.
Krimson, half of my CDs are hip hop (almost ALL West Coast) but only about 150 of my vinyl is hip hop.

Yeah mines a similiar story...got about 500 "real" cds...mostly hiphop, funk, soul, some accoustic /chillout/rock/blues etc etc
About 200 recorded cd...each stored in mp3 with 8-12 albums on.
oh yeah and over 50 wutang albums alone lol
i dont see it as a waste of money either (although some close to me do)
i love music...id rather sacrifice a beer or two and get an album im gonna hopefully play and keep for a long time.
With the internet revoloution..im not surte if it will be legal so soon...
i remember most of it being shut by the fbi....(dalnet)2 years ago alot of people i knew got busted by their traffic useage etc...all taken...all destroyed.
Not many channels exist on there with servers / ftp etc..access to music in that form has been banned...an none of us thougght this could be done because of the millions of servers to connect thru etc
And a year go with same on efnet...all the big boys are online but hidden...not in channels / channels that can be viewed easily....
...most of the major sites or places where groups get together are also locked / hidden from public view...
...it has all got really suspicious
anyway if i like a cd i get from irc / internet chances are i will buy a hard copy too...
...gotta keep supporting the artists :)

I got about 150-160 right now. My money is goin towards other stuff right now tho so I don't buy albums as much.
