What is your greatest DUBCC memory of all time?
⠀:
For me its when mildly famous people would wash up on the shores of the dubb seeking validation in the days before social media and would find themselves descended upon by a horde of west fixated groupies demanding rares and or kissing ass.
Think that last one was that guy that big Soopa ran off the set like it was Deebo and Red reenacted. Word must've spread after that because no one else ever stopped by again.
Its crazy to think quite how big this place was back in its day as it got computers putin.

I remember Daz posting a while back. Who else was on here?
My fav memory is prob Mellowman’s posts about how amazing Detox was going to be. He had a lot of us fooled. ;D
Sccit:
top dogg just posted his new single a couple weeks back
but the goat moment that took the traffic to another level was when i pulled up on sikotic back in 09
felt like there was 100+ threads per day on that beef back when it was goin down
#classix

Yeah that was fuckin epic (and don’t forget who was your homie and had your back at that rhyme). That said, maad respect to Sikotic and he’s top 5 easily at the forum.
My top moments off top
—Creating the Fantasy Label section of the forum (which was like a hiphop version of fantasy football) with Sccit
—When the Keystyle section was popping with battles and tournaments and crews. I founded Melanin Deficient and the rival crew was CSN. MaxiCSN rose to the top and everyone was in awe of this dude and then (I forgot who) was exposed for bitin rhymes from other forums and fell as quick as he rose
—recording my first songs with Trauma and Sccit. And the Dubcc compilation. I don’t care what anyone says that was a dope album and Sccit and everyone involved did great work on that. I still bump it at rhymes.
—when this cat named Mellowman fooled everyone into believing he was Mel-Man and I was like the only dude (along with Rod) saying he was full of shit, but everyone was eatin it up and kissing his ass including overseer

There were a number of rappers on here at one point before 'social media' platforms took hold to where they could monetise their following through ad's etc. I'm sure Daz was on here for a minute, before he left after being bombarded before he could even answer the important questions such as where the $500 refunds were that some of us were due. Deebo would have been far more compassionate whilst robbing us than what Daz was back in the day, but I guess he needed the money more. Maybe not as much as Kurupt did to keep people quiet, but that's another discussion entirely.
I remember winning a competition for Snoop Dogg's 'Paid the Cost to be Da Boss' album release. Came with CD / vinyl and some cards from what I could remember. That was 19 years ago and is probably older than some of the fans of these rainbow haired mumble rappers today. Scary.
