That's the Hebrew word the kjv uses. Your just trying to put a spin on it to explain away why Job is black. You really don't understand that the translators of the kjv knew what they were doing and created a world renowned translation? One that has withstood the test of time, has been used for history, science, archeology etc. because of its accuracy?

again, there are multiple translations and only one hebrew text..
hebrew is my first language, i do not need a translation. kjb is NOT recognized by Judaism as legit. anything that touches the new testament lacks divinity.
once again, shachar (the hebrew word used) means darkened/blackened … it is 100% a verb in the hebrew text. no ifs ands or buts.. shin chet resh with the verb vowels. FACTS only. learn the language of the scriptures. it’s the first thing recommended to outsiders when they come in to practice judaism.
