Story is straight out of Rae's own autobiography.

Says a lot about Dre, Rae, and Rza. 

Rza - The fact Rza was able to get a classic album out of those guys in 94' is remarkable, not because they aren't extremely talented, but considering how big of assholes they are to deal with.  Then Rza managed to get the double album multiplatinum and near-classic out of them in 97' (and they subsequently sabotaged the tour.  Rza says sometimes he'd show up and like only 2 other members would be there, and he'd be scrambling around last minute trying to figure out how they could do the show).   He continued to build their brand thereafter--in spite of their efforts to fucc it up.

Rae - Inflated ego and ungrateful

Dre - He's dealt with enough assholes in his career to know what to look for.

Yeah it sure did.  Rae says Dre ended up giving him those 4 beats for free. 

The way Rae explains it Rae demanded 5 mill and Dre actually says yes but then got busy with other artists (which really means Dre was probably like whatever fucc this guy, lol) so that since Dre was busy with other artists and couldn't get around to Raes project Rae told Dre he wasn't gonna keep waiting around for Dre so Dre was like "alright cool, my bad I been busy with stuff but tell you what you can go ahead and keep the 4 joints we already did free and clear" so Rae wasn't mad at him

i wonder what the other tracks were then? maybe i'm forgetting something but presumably unreleased. weird he didn't use all four if they were free & cleared.

No.. from the book he did use the 4 Dre tracks on the Only Built For Cuban Links album... I got to go check myself though I never heard them
