Probably we have the same situation with BUSH which is great as well. Great concept and production.

i liked bush but 7 days was better

Yes but I don't really look at it as a Snoop Album.  It's a duo album and only 8 songs.  And I didn't love it for whatever reason.  Nothing particularly that I don't like, it just didn't click for me.

it’s a duo album only in the sense that it’s entirely produced by dam funk .. but then doggystyle would also be a duo album based on that. a short album from snoop isn’t bad considering how much he’s been known to have filler on his projects over the past 20 years


but i suggest to revisit it .. sometimes you appreciate albums more on a second spin. this one was a near classic to me.

I gave it another listen today.  A lil too much singing for me.  It has a summertime feel IMO which is good.

that’s the one flaw on the album imo .. too much singing. but not nearly as much as bush. if not for the excessive singing, it would be a classic imo.
