Rappers and their African heritages/ancestry

I read an article a while back detailing how Ludacris traced his lineage back to Gabon in Africa and has subsequently been granted Gabonese citizenship, and it got me thinking about other rappers and their ancestry.

Is anyone aware of any others? I understand this may be a sensitive subject but the Ludacris story just piqued my interest.
