Snoop posted a video, I think around 2021, showing his iTunes playlist by accident. It included the W.I.P. songs from the Missionary sessions, which also included "Where I'm From". Before that, the song had already been seen on a whiteboard for Jon Connor's album.

This is dope we'll get to hear this record soon!!
Mr.(Ko)Kane:
I'm sure "Where I'm From" is more in line with what many would have expected from the Snoop album. Dre once said that he felt the first Missionary sessions were music for younger people and didn't reflect their current status. But that's what would have suited Snoop well - a few well-produced bangers, instead of trying to please everyone (including non-Snoop or hip-hop fans).
It would be awesome if the other songs were released or leaked as well. The general consensus is that the actual hits never made it onto the track list, at least according to the people who were there during the sessions or who had the chance to hear the songs over the years.
JeremyM:
I liked Missionary OK when judged on its own merits, but as the long-anticipated full-length reunion between the two, I understand the disappointment for sure.
Is the rumor true that he didn't actually sign the signed copies? They don't look like his typical signature, but on the other hand, I did see a wine bottle he signed that looked pretty close.
