JAM MASTER JAY'S NEPHEW SHOT IN QUEENS

 


Boe Skagz, a member of rap group Rusty Waters and the nephew of Jam Master Jay,
was shot in the leg around 8 p.m. on Wednesday in Queens, New York.
According to a Queens police detective, Skagz told authorities that a boy in his
late teens came out of nowhere, fired three shots at him and ran away.
One bullet hit Skagz in the calf, and police said it appears he was shot from behind.
No one has been arrested, and Skagz told police he did not recognize the assailant.
The rapper was treated at a Queens hospital on Wednesday and released on Thursday.
Authorities do not believe the incident is linked to the murder of Jam Master Jay.
