Id agree for sure....These albums have all stood the test of time, and to me that is what makes a classic album....The all hey great replay value and are all classic albums IMO.  Just becuase It was Written wasnt as good as Illmatic people say it aint classic.....When really, Illmatic could get 6/5, and It Was Written could get 5/5 and still be classic.

If I had 2 choose only 2..
outta those

ImO
Nas "It was written"...CLASSIC
One of the most anticipated lp's in a minute.
A world of pressure was probably on Nas' shoulder's when he was recording this album, he was expected to follow up one of the better debut's ever (ILLmatic)...ImO
considering all the music he has done since then, this one get's the nod equal or possibly better than STILLmatic as his second best title.

Method man "Tical"...CLASSIC
Only thing I can compare this 2...to compare it to now.
would be the buzz 50 cent had before droppin' his first official lp. Meth had the entire industry swinging from his nut's during this period. and he was was doing the grimey ish, that wasn't considered mainstream. His joint with Mary J was classic. (even tho the popular version, does not appear on his lp) I still to this day bump this on..
There is no question in my eyes that this one is a shelf life of forever in my collection.

Dope thread..prop's
