I don`t like the word classic but all these cds are very tight.

I don't know...is 5/5 considered classic or can 4.5/5 outta 5 be considered classic?  IMO, 5/5 is classic.  So by my scale there are only about 3 or 4 albums that are "classic".

The reason I put It Was Written is because it's a great album and got overshadowed by Illmatic and I've seen a number of people call it a classic.  

Classic? Nah, good but no classic, tied for 4th best Nas album.

The reason I put Moment Of Truth & Black Star is basically cause I hear classic talk of these albums sometimes.

Classics? Moment Of Truth is close, best Gang Starr album IMO, but no, Black Star hell no, just cause it's the first album of two great lyricists doesn't make it classic, it's just not good enough to be.

The reason I put Tical and Ironman on here is because they don't get the recogniton like Raekwon and Gza do as far as the first batch of Wu-Tang solos go.  

Classics? Tical is overrated IMO, good but no classic, Ironman however is probably the best album of the bunch, nice variety on there as Ghostface shows you a well-rounded MC.  I find it hard not to call this a classic but I hate to throw the word classic around.

Black Star, Ironman and Tical fo sure.. the others are very tight.. dunno if they classics

Well to put it quick:

It Was Written = No
Moment Of Truth = Yes
Black Star = No
Tical = Yes
Ironman = Can't say (Never heard it)

Only Tical and Moment Of Truth qualifies as classics from those 4 in my book. They're all great albums though.

For me the Black Star album is straight classic, there is nothing to fault on that entire album, except prehaps the fact that they could have done a whole track on the B Boys Will B Boys beat instead of just one verse, but other than that to me it is flawless. This may seem a bit of a rash statement, but to me it is my favourite east coast album ever, I just can't find anything wrong with it.
