Aight Analysts, I had a wide ranging conversation with Tariq Nasheed. The cultural historian and documentarian released a fantastic documentary called "Microphone Check: Hip Hop's Hidden History" which covers the true origins of each element of Hip Hop. The film interviews several founders including Grandmaster Caz, DJ Hollywood, Busy Bee, Sha-Rock, Corn Bread, and dives deep into the early days and origins of the culture that captured the world.
