Here's a clip from the full interview which is posted below:Rated R: Tupac Was Furious At Biggie For Charging Him $7500 For Verse Meant For The Thug Life Album^If I'm not mistaken, that's the same fee Pac was charging Jimmy Henchman the night he got shot at Quad.
Interesting. Imagine what a collectors item that would be if you had an o.g copy from 1994 of the Thug Life album with that track on there—before Pac took it off. There should be one of those because he is saying they pressed up hundreds of copies? If I was interviewing I would have asked that. That Thug Life album really needed that song though. "Runnin from the Police" would have sounded hard as fucc and fit perfect on that Thug Life album.
I happen to own the promo casette of the album with Runnin on it haha
Can you post some pics?
DOPE!How'd you get it? Is the quality 100% or it sounds rough or unmixed or unmastered? How does the album sound with that song on it playin straight through without skips? I'm sure it enhances it. It would be like taking a track like "The Shiznit" off of Doggystyle or "What's the Difference" off of 2001.
Album was mastered 100% Runnin fits the album perfectly it faded perfectly like Deep Cover faded perfectly into Little Ghetto Boy on The Chronic
man you are blowing my mind.. so you also got a promo of the Chronic with Deep Cover on it?

So they took off runnin' and added Stay True. Does anyone know if they pressed up the original version of the album? They said that the album was too hard and Interscope made them re-record the album which became the final version.
