Technically anybody at the forum has good taste in music or they wouldn't even be here, but especially in the years like 1998 it seems like we were digesting all the same hip-hop at the same time.  I was probably a little behind, because you were in NY and I was in KC, so you were closer to the mecca but since you were a West Coast head we were mostly the same.

Then everybody got into the West again in 99' but seems we were pretty much soul brothers musically in 97 and 98.  Probably both watching Rap City after school and reading all the same magazines and buying the same albums. 

And if you were you definitely remember shit like Cool Breeze feat. Outkast, Goodie Mob posse cut which was huge on Rap City but not really anywhere else.  Shit like that you had to be around at the rhyme (time) to know.
