Ice Cube Drops New Album ‘Man Down’

After an eight-year hiatus, rap icon and entertainment mogul Ice Cube is back with his 11th studio album, Man Down.

Released today under Lench Mob Records and distributed by Hitmakers, this 19-track project brings Cube’s signature West Coast funk and raw storytelling to the forefront, tackling the state of manhood and accountability in today’s world.

Ice Cube’s Latest Single Shakes the Charts

Cube’s recent single, “It’s My Ego,” debuted at #7 on Billboard’s Rap Digital Song Sales chart and at #8 on the R&B/Hip Hop Digital Song Sales chart.

The track also racked up over 5.4 million YouTube views and hit #37 on the Rhythmic Radio Chart, proving Ice Cube’s cultural relevance is stronger than ever.

Just finally played the album all the way through; his ABC rhymes are hard to stomach at times as is his flow, but I like a good 7-8 tracks…some real highlights.   

Now I’ll go back to spinning this Dot album- my fav of his since GKMC and Section 80
