If your gauge is commercial success, Dre had a part in producing 8 out of the top 20 best selling rap albums of all time.

If critical success is your gauge, an argument could be made that he was involved in or produced on 15 of the top 100 critically acclaimed rap albums of all time. 

No other producer is touching that.  A person could make an argument that they don't like his sound or the way that he produces, but the results speak for themselves.

"Physics of Hate" is a real thing.
Dr. Dre is NOT mentioned in the video, it's about the hate you get being at top.
