It should come as no surprise that the music industry, like all entertainment, is filled with nepotism. How many present day actors and actresses are the children and grand children of actors, actresses, producers, and directors? The answer? Tons.

I never knew about Dru Down and Bootsie Collins.

Also, add Sasha Banks/Mercedes Mone/Mercedes Varnado (WWE/AEW professional wrestler and actress from The Mandalorian) to the Snoop family tree. She's a cousin as well. In addition, one or two of Daz's kids are on the sitcom Abbott Elementary.

I've never said this publically but I'm a distant relative to them via Mississippi. One of my family members that I know, who's in the industry has a relationship with some of them. I've known for a few years now. I don't care about it at all at all. I'm the REAL star of the bloodline.

Flava Flav and ODB

Didn't know about Too Short and Hammer...

...And I bet you didn't know about Flava Flav being cousins with Rza and ODB.

Hip-hop is in their bloodline. There's probably a really good story there somewhere if they were able to trace the family lineage, that somehow links them to hip-hop. Obviously, hip-hop wasn't around when their grandparents were children, but there may be a hidden link. Like, in the same vein as the way they dug up a big story about Michael Jordan's Behemoth-like grandfather Dawson Jordan, who worked hard labor on a farm with impressive ease, and how Michael's larger than life genetics can be traced there (rather than his father who has a more pedestrian appearance).
