though it got off to a rocky star with the pregame ;D

but it already felt like more of an event like Opening Night should be than ESPNs production

I saw the Jordan clip I guess it was just like a 3 minute half-time piece?

I guess I will just be checking out the clips on youtube since I don't watch NBA anymore.  I'm sure if there was a local KC team that would keep me watching but remember we don't have a team where I'm from.  I still watched all the way up through the 2014-15 season when Lebron's team had a lot of injuries but he still had them competitive in the finals, that was a good series.  And I was watching a lot back when Wade and Shaq were together and Kobe's run like the Amare Stoudamire game or whatever that game was with Nash and some guy got off the bench and got suspended that was a great series, and Paul Pierce and Garnett battling Kobe those were still good years.

I'm just mentioning the above memories to prove I still kept watching even after Jordan left the game.  Even the bubble year my best friend in KC and I used to watch the finals games.  But that was the last game NBA game I watched was the Lakers championship in the bubble.

It's kind of sad considering what a fanatic I was for so many years, and I still regularly watch 80's and 90's basketball on youtube.

pretty weak of u .... basketball is easily the most entertaining and complete game

and the talent in the NBA is currently on a major uptrend

baseball playoffs have been great but even a strong regular season game ala okc-houston double OT thriller last night can be as entertaining as an mlb playoff game if not more
