yeah the beat actually saves the song for me along with the hook by Blaqthoven

Yeah, and we've discussed this many times about Kuruption. But I don't feel like Kurupt's verses matched what Blaqthoven was doing on the chorus.
Even if Kurupt had just spit like standard selling drugs kind of bars on the verses it would've fit really well with the beat and the hook. If he would've spit lyrics like what him and Daz were spittin on "I Don't Like To Dream About Gettin Paid" would've been perfect 8)

yeah you're right...over the years I've began to accept "Kuruption!" for what it is, I do enjoy a lot of the tracks mainly on the West disc but at the time of its release I felt the same way "what the hell is Kurupt spitting on this album?"
