Yeah, definitely a reference to the film from 1995. But the artwork shown in the music video is clearly not the film's poster, lol (even though it's using the same font as the film's poster).

Kurupt actually has a song on the film's soundtrack. Great movie for those that have never seen it btw.

I miss 92-95 Kurupt...I know it was only a short period of time but he was as good as any MC during that era

still I have all his CDs and will cop this one too though
