It was ten 10 years ago, people still cared about Game back then and the album did like 400k+ andgot good reviews which was good for a irrelevant rapper

If I had to choose between Missionary and Compton, I choose Missionary. But that's like asking if I would prefer to eat a bowl of shit or drink a bottle of piss. Both options are awful.

Before Missionary came out, there were several interviews with people from Dre's circle who were saying the stuff Dre and Snoop are doing with Missionary was some of the best stuff they've ever heard and was going to change the game. Wait til you hear it, like monumental type beats and songs. I'd love to go back and ask these same people: Is this the album you were talking about?? This is the groundbreaking sound you were referring to?" Or were there way better songs that never got released they were talking about? Or is it typical "Dre inner circle" talk where they're all just a bunch of Dre dickriders who can't form their own unbiased opinion?

Interesting debate. I voted Missionary (not by a massive margin, I'll add)
Compton had some tracks which I genuinely thought were horrible, I cannot stand the messy noise of Talk About It. I remember the first time I heard it and I was like wtf is this noisy shite.
Having said that, there are some very good tracks - the same others have picked up on (Diary, All on me, Animals - all sound like Detox tracks to me) and then some pretty good tracks which I do enjoy. But as others have said, Dre's Kendrick written raps don't suit him at all and it makes a lot of the tracks sound unpleasant to me.
Missionary was also a complete let down, but I think overall it sounds better (despite the terrible Outta Da Blue which I genuinely thought was going to get a different beat when it first leaked). Much more of "the sound", but it needed West Coast features and the 50/Em/Snoop collab was also a total letdown on that beat
