Classic doesn't that mean every song, interlude does not get the skip treatment? Like Doggystyle??

that's a lot of people's definition .. no skips .. stands the test of time .. has a cultural impact etc.


now i would say if an album has a couple skips .. it can still theoretically be a classic in my book, given the rest is exceptional, timeless, has impact etc..


but an album that is full of weak songs and has a handful of bangers goes well beyond the conventional definition of classic.. should go without saying lol

To me folks throw the word Classic way too much regarding a really good album. Classic and extremely good seems to be the normal classification.
Folks taste and opinions definitely differ from one another.

Agreed. JAY Z Vol. 1 might be a classic despite having those two poppy singles. The rest of the album is so flawless. Perfect example of a potential classic despite 1-2 lowlights.

If your expectations for Daz are higher than this, you need to reset your expectations. This is a good Daz song in 2025.
