There is a Murder IV hire album somewhere in the vaults; i did post the critic of the full album before on bombfirst, unfortunately page has disapeared.
original page: https://boutdatonline.com/2022/03/03/review-murder-iv-hire-murder-iv-hire/

This guy on YT did put an exerpt of it

I  quote:
"Things were looking up for the group in 1994 when they got signed to Death Row Records by Suge Knight. However the recording process slowed down in 1995 when Big Jake was shot by a person with a semiautomatic weapon and died 2 weeks later in a hospital. The album was scheduled to be released in 1996 but was never released due to the death of 2Pac and label politics. Someone leaked a few of their songs from that album to the internet in 2008. However the entire album was never leaked fully."

Track 9 of Warlord's completed Death Row album has 2Pac, Warlord, and Salim (Who was also signed to Death Row in 2005/2006) all on one song. Plus, Warlord did a ton with Petey Pablo.

Yup, that song had 2Pac's verse from Komrades on it.  Heard it, it sucked, nothing special.  If i remember correctly, the verse wasn't even on beat.

No you don't, it's awful.  If Jazzmatix weren't briefly signed to Death Row, you'd have no interest in them at all.  There's plenty of other artists in that genre or style you could listen to.  You only think they would be amazing songs because they were signed to Death Row...that's it.

The song is on youtube right now.  It's called DejaVu feat. Brandy.  Go listen to it and tell me how bomb and amazing you think this song is and how their album would've sold millions if it would have been released.

A random unheard. With Komradez, you're thinking about that Petey Pablo song from Death Row that uses it.

Sure but the demand for that stuff is so low, it makes it unlikely we’ll ever hear it.

And this is what those hoarding the unreleased DR material don't understand. They paid a good amount for it without realizing the demand for that material is only going to decline due to those people getting older and younger generations not caring about the Death Row era. Before B1 closed the forums I think they were looking at a 2k a year subscription for the material, which is absolutely insane because that material isn't worth however many people who actually pay that much. Like "Ghetto Star" being leaked; it sounds like a rough cut of the version that dropped on Better Dayz in perfect quality.

You're conflating a lot of things.

It wasn't a yearly subscription service. A few people that had material offered it in batches with prices that reflected the cost of the material in the first place. The prices and exclusivity of the projects increased as time passed, both because the people that paid the money wanted more exlusive stuff, and because the trust that was established allowed it I guess.

When it comes to the value proposition, it's my experience that it's actually the people that don't own content that are the confused ones. They all want to make this value based proposition that because the inherent value of these things is dropping they should all rush to share everything they have before it becomes obsolete. That may seem like it makes a lot of sense on the surface, but you're completely disregarding the realities on the ground.

The realities on the ground is that these things that people are yearning for are already out there in the possession of individuals who will want compensation to let their stuff go. Any value the item has from a grading point of view is irrelevant if the other person has the item and you want it. It makes no sense to talk about what they're actually worth when people already spent the money on that stuff. If you buy something for $5000 and the value of it drops down to $4000, that's not a good argument to give it away for free. So it's not like you have a bunch of dumb collectors out there that don't understand what's going on, that's clueless and setting themselves up for failure. They wouldn't have spent the money in the first place if they didn't have it. There's no immediacy for them to get this all out to the masses asap.

With respect to the newly leaked Ghetto Star, Nuttso's vocal take is different, he re-recorded his verses for the released "perfect quality" version.  That may constitute enough of a difference for you to find the cassette interesting, or it may not. Again, all those people that appreciate leaks like that aren't just clueless idiots, they just have different tastes and preferences to you. This is a track with a long history, that's been sought after for a couple of decades now, and hearing it just to have confirmation that the released version is so clsoe to the original as it is has value in and of itself to certain people. People that are interested in the process of making music will get a lot more out of hearing the inrementally different versions, than people who just wants to listen to the best version of the song. I suspect no one here paid a single cent for the song either, so it's not like you're forced to listen to it. I don't understand the problem lol.

https://www.siccness.net/xf/threads/new-death-row-artist-warlord-free-mixtape-link-and-interview.181742/ - None of this material is in the vault.

Rahim: How long have you been on Tha Row for?

Warlord: I’ve been on Death Row for a year and on the move with mix tapes. “I Can Getcha Block Knocked Off” is about to drop, as well as the album I’m working on.

Rahim: Can you tell us more about them?

Warlord: “I Can Getcha Block Knocked Off” is a mix tape series. It’s me mashing on all my favorite beats, all the hot shit that was out from 50 cent, Jay Z and LL Cool J to showcase my skill. The album is going to be nothing short of a classic, with beats from Aroc, Blacktoven, Del West, J. Classic, Jelly Roll, Lil Jon, Pyro and S. Owens. It will be featuring 2Pac, Groove Trybe, Petey Pablo, Salim, and Trey Songz. It is a well rounded album that everyone can take something from, no matter what their background is.

Rahim: You mentioned a guest appearance by 2Pac. Will 2Pac’s vocals be an unheard or recycled verse on your album?

Warlord: It will be an unheard verse from 2Pac’s Death Row era. The song is off the fuckin chain too. It was always one of my dreams to record a song with 2Pac. I hate that he wasn’t there in the lab with me. Rest his soul.

Rahim: Would you be able to give us the title of that song?

Warlord: It was never named. It was a song that was never finished. It just so happens that Simon, Big Los, and I were in the studio, and Suge thought of the song. After I heard it I told Simon I had to get on it, and he gave me the opportunity.
