ProHoeZak Drops "The Introduction" Featuring Mount Westmore
« on: August 29, 2025, 05:27:27 AM »
What began as a blockchain rarity is now making its way into the mainstream. “The Introduction”—a historic collaboration between Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Too $hort, and E-40 under the banner of Mount Westmore—is set to be officially released on ProHoeZak’s upcoming album, Artificial Ignorance, through CME Records (Chad Media & Entertainment).

Originally titled “Mt. Westmore, Part 1” during its NFT-exclusive release, the track quickly gained cult status among fans. Passed around in underground circles and YouTube rips, the song became one of the most talked-about unreleased West Coast records in recent years. Now, it is returning in its full, mastered form as “The Introduction.”

Produced by ProHoeZak, the track is not just a posse cut—it’s a ceremonial unveiling. Serving as both producer and host, ProHoeZak personally delivers a sharp introduction for each member of Mount Westmore, weaving his voice into the legendary lineup.

Musically, the production leans into funk royalty, flipping and reimagining Parliament’s “Aqua Boogie (A Psychoalphadiscobetabioaquadoloop)” with modern grit, giving the record a timeless West Coast bounce while paying homage to one of hip-hop’s foundational influences.

The story of “The Introduction” adds to its mythos. Initially locked on the blockchain, the track symbolized the future of music distribution—scarce, collectible, and decentralized. Fans who didn’t have access were left to rely on rips and bootlegs, building anticipation and underground hype.

Now, with its placement on Artificial Ignorance, the record is no longer just a collectors’ secret—it’s a fully available cornerstone of ProHoeZak’s album and a defining entry in Mount Westmore’s legacy.

Known for his long history with the West Coast’s sonic innovators, ProHoeZak has spent decades producing, writing, and collaborating with legends. Artificial Ignorance is his latest statement piece, blending cutting-edge production with sharp cultural commentary, futuristic themes, and a who’s who of rap icons.

The album will be released through CME Records (Chad Media & Entertainment), founded by veteran hip-hop journalist and media executive Chad Kiser, whose career spans interviews, features, and collaborations with some of the biggest names in music.

“The Introduction” is now available worldwide on all DSP’s as part of ProHoeZak’s 'Artificial Ignorance', released through CME Records (Chad Media & Entertainment).

I didn't remember it was a ProHoezak production. I remember when it leaked some1 saying it could have been a Fredwreck beat because of the infused-funk signature he had in the 2000's. Nice to see it got a proper release. What to expect on "Artificial Ignorance"? release date?
