Damn dude, what the hell is everyone waiting for? Eazy's entire original fan base will be dead by the time they finally get around to releasing all those songs lol.

Unfortunately they think money, there's not enough fans demanding for Eazy music anymore so it wont be a profit for them releasing it....

No disrespect to Tamica Wright but this is what happens when you leave a label to people who don't know the music business. Tamica and Afeni (R.I.P) were both happy and content just receiving royalties or licensing the catalog. Look at the "Nirvana" and "Prince" estate, they've done a great job releasing Deluxe albums and even keeping the name alive by excepting social media plays a huge role in the modern day.  The Eazy-E and 2pac estates have nothing to keep the legacy alive, especially 2pac estate they should have done a AEOM deluxe release decades ago. How in the hell do you leave 2pac's assistant (Molly) in charge and the final say so that's just dumb and lazy business. And to be honest DJ Quik is the heading down that same path, stuck in the 90's (not musically but business wise), no vision for the the modern day and future music business.

Yeah, i was hoping with the 2Pac murder trial in the mainstream again and his song on the new Streetfighter soundtrack, it might spark enough interest to release a project from the estate.  And has Quik been any more irrelevant than he is right now?  Dude has been the one of the worst businessmen in the game.  He's managing his own legacy right into the ground.  He should be on Dre's level but he can't get out of his own way.  Constant battles with record companies, former friends, etc.  The fear of failure preventing him from releasing anything.  Instead, he's on IG everyday filming himself in his car talking about traffic.  No excuses there, he's hurt his own legacy, no estate doing that to him.  At least Pac and Eazy have the excuse of the estate not knowing what the hell they are doing.

Here's another DJ Quik story.... The Candyman song "Candyman Do Me Rite" if you notice in the middle of song it totally changes into a different beat. If you have the CD Single it's called "Bonus Beat For The Jeeps", that beat was originally for a song that DJ Quik & 2nd ll None did for Eazy-E. They did record the song as a reference for Eazy-E but it is not clear if Eazy-E ever recorded his version, the rap was done by DJ Quik and 2nd ll None provided the hooks. The song was recorded shortly after the Penthouse Players Clique album (1991) which we all know Eazy-E was featured on. Remember around this same time is when Eazy-E offered Profile Records a million dollars to buy out DJ Quik's contract but Profile refused. I talked Tony G (Producer) and he confirmed after Eazy-E died he was hired to do an audit of the Ruthless Records vault and he said there is still at least 30-40 unreleased Eazy-E songs that have never come out. But it doesn't stop there, do you guys remember a baseball player named Tony Gwynn (San Diego Padres) he was working on a rap album and he also love that beat and he actually recorded a song to that beat. If KK from 2nd ll None would have never told me this story about Tony Gwynn wanting to be a rapper I would have never believed it. Tony Gwynn was the most role model baseball player in the history of baseball, I could not imagine him spitting bars lol.
