If there was a doubt what this about, this kind of money grab should clear it up

Let's get an interview for Dubcnn like the good old days!  And we can submit questions.  Shouldn't cost any more than a couple hundred dollars.

The story he tells about WAWG is interesting, how Snoop gets 50% publishing rights for production for his other producers signed to the label, but Daz wouldn't agree to that, so that's why no Daz production is on the album.  Like was said, i'm sure the truth is somewhere in the middle, but I don't think Snoop is innocent in all this either.  The idea that he's going back for groups like DPG, Eastsidaz, Danny Boy, etc. with the sole intent to help them out seems like that isn't really the case.  Which is fine, Snoop wants to make money too, even though he has more money than he will ever need in his lifetime.  But call it like it is then.

As you stated, let's say all that is the truth, let's just go with that.

So you have a proposal and your lawyer said, don't sign, it's not a good deal, then don't sign! Get it the right way, crying on the Internet not going to change that.

Now to his WAWG, let's say his version is the truth too, just for argument sake...so he didn't agree to the production deal but other producers agreed to it, these are not industry newbies (Mike & Keys, Battlecat) etc.

They look at the papers, it works for them, they agreed to do it, Daz looked at it and saod not for me...end of story.

Agreed.  I have business deals presented to me all the time where I don't feel it is a good fit for me and I politely decline and move on.  Daz going online and crying about it certainly isn't helping matters any.  Unless, as I stated before, he thinks this 'beef' will somehow lead to more attention and more album sales and downloads.  Fans love drama and diss songs.

But also to be fair to Daz, people keep asking him 'why you didn't produce on WAWG', 'why is Snoop putting Kurupts albums out on Death Row and not yours?", 'why isn't Dogg Food 2 coming out on Death Row"....so I think he is being forced to address some of this stuff because the fans want to know. But there's a more mature way of handling it.

👍🏾
.Good luck to them.

I genuinely think it's better for both of them to settle their business and go their ways.

All these nonstop back n forth is very immature and they always dust it under "family squabble".....looks like fake love, no need to fuck with each other by force.

Back to the music, lett me go and wait for Game's mixtape....hopefully it delivers some gem for Christmas

Eddz:
It's not just Snoop wanting 50% of the publishing for production, Daz is saying that Snoop was paying new staff off old Death Row royalties including Daz's and something about Snoop trying to trademark Tha Dogg Pound name and forging Daz's signature.

Daz isn't the only one raising issues about Snoop's bad business practices, Danny Boy, Nate's brother Sam Dogg and now Kokane too, seems that Snoop is just looking out for Snoop.
