So why isn’t he getting royalties for all that? You are right, guy should be set up for life with the career he’s had. Isn’t that exactly what he’s trying to do now? Protect his publishing?

Daz had his ''Run'' from 1992 to 1998, outside of that he didn't contribute much to Hip Hop. This guy has been crying about his publishing and royalties for decades and was unable to reinvite himself and expand his craft. Dj Quik has a career, 1500 or Nothin has a career, Terrace Martin has a career. Even Kurupt is considered one of the greatest Hip hop mc's ever. Daz will never reach that level.

Daz can be goofy a lot of times but when it comes to producing he's one of GOATs... he's also overlooked as an MC... his flow is ill.
