rbx was giving his best ... some verses we had to tell him to re-record, or re-write, but he was absolutely excited to do his first album in almost 20 years and was giving an honest effort

brother nature is fairly new to rapping ... we got with him because he reached out to me and bought a feature off me for his album... he too is giving an honest effort

when we worked with daz, it was a different experience. he was business first and art second...crooked i, on the other hand, was also giving a genuine effort for the same song .. had to save daz with production tho.

like someone else said, i wouldn't even be surprised if daz is using AI for his latest albums.

Damn, that's kinda sad to me that the songs he put out on his album with you is the absolute best RBX is capable of these days with his maximum effort put forth.  You already know it wasn't my taste, but that's OK.  I think some people liked the album, but I never heard anyone saying it was an all time classic or anything.  But you worked with him and know him better than any of us.  If that group of songs is the best RBX can do anymore, like you said, i guess we'll have to accept that.  Too bad.

allhiphop called "hibernation shivers" a masterpiece ... a lot of people said it's his best album, particularly from a production standpoint

not my words, but i have an unreleased track by rbx from 1996 produced by dr dre called "the black train"

and objectively, i can see what you're saying in terms of him not sounding as hungry on the mic nowadays .. but that's not due to effort.. as people age they become more laid back in general.. so you hear a less "in your face" and more relaxed rbx on his latest efforts and that wasn't really what he was known for comin up .. so i get it
