Always liked Lil C-Style's voice and thought he had talent maybe cause he was my homie and we worked together but other then that everything was no good. Reggie and I always argue about Death Row's prime had nothing to do with Suge, he had no business getting into the music side of DR. And if you break it down even Suge's 2 biggest accomplishments, getting Dr Dre off Ruthless and bringing 2pac to DR turns out had nothing to do with him Jimmy made all that happen.

you are trippin man... Suge brought Dre and 2pac to Death Row, how can you say that was all Jimmy and that Suge had nothing to do with that?  2pac says from his own mouth that Suge is the one that came and got him out of jail and brought him to Death Row and Dre says out of his own mouth that Suge came and got him off Ruthless and started Death Row with him.

The reason "The Chronic" never came out Solar/Death Row cause a Judge voided out the releases Suge got Eazy-E to sign, it wasn't til Jimmy and Jerry got together and worked out the deal (Dre Day = Eazy's Pay Day). That's why Deep Cover was pulled from the original promo "Chronic" tape and replaced with Bitches Ain't Shi*. Jimmy's investors didn't want 2pac on Interscope because of all the problems, so Jimmy used Suge and Death Row to keep him under the Interscope umbrella through Death Row. Yes Suge had the ideas but Jimmy was the executioner, this comes straight from Papa G. According to Papa G Jimmy made every single decision at Death Row including singles and promotion, Papa G always told me the Death Row/Interscope meetings were pointless cause all the decisions were already made before Suge stepped in the room. That's why Jimmy hated Papa G and black balled him for bringing this to Suge's attention.

I agree that Jimmy and Interscope were doing a lot.  I just think you took it a bit too far, like for example saying that Suge didn't bring Dre and Pac to Death Row.

...and what do you mean "told me".  You know Papa G personally?  If so, then tell us more.

Had a chance to hang with Papa G a bunch of times before he passed... thanks to Riskie. We did a couple of interviews but there was a lot of stories he did not want me to put out in the public. I still have at least 30 interviews from different people I never put up on my bomb1st youtube channel. But don't get me wrong Suge did a great job on the business side but when it comes to the music side I don't think he had the ear for it. I also think the 2pac catalog should have stayed with Death Row, we would have had all the originals in great quality by now. Better Days And Until The End albums were rushed and Afeni did not want pay for samples to get cleared. All went downhill when Afeni got the catalog and Pac's Life album was the end.

Dre made the album and he agreed to let Suge handle the business he was going to Manage Dre personally and run a Management company through Death Row was not Suge’s label, it was Dre’s and Suge and 20% was Interscope and mainly Dre and Snoop who were interscope artist as well, Dogg Pound were releases on Priority not Interscope.

Look at the budget on Dogg Food versus Even Murder Was the Case soundtrack more videos singles press release and it sold just as much as Dogg Food. The VHS was also hot as lava when it dropped.

Suge gets more credit than he deserves. He ruined just as much as he help start as well. 90s were an amazing time for music. He was the downfall of it, ruined the very branches of the tree he built.
