I've watched most of the videos by "Rapospective"; so far, he has covered the catalogs of Ruthless and Rap-A-Lot Records. It seems that negative reviews tend to attract more attention and generate more comments. You either accept the themes and content of so-called "gangsta rap"—including the shocking lyrics—or the genre simply isn't for you.

Rapospective's Geto Boys catalog reviews 🤥 (he pretty much give all the albums bad reviews)

--- Quote ---The REAL Reason MC Ren Never Became A Hip Hop SUPERSTAR

StuntedGrowthMusic

MC Ren helped shape one of the most influential eras in hip hop, became a platinum-selling solo artist, and earned respect as one of the West Coast's hardest lyricists. So why didn't his solo career become even bigger?

From his early success with Kizz My Black Azz and Shock of the Hour to his changing musical direction, lengthy gaps between albums, and loyalty to Ruthless Records, we break down three reasons MC Ren never reached the level of mainstream superstardom many believed he could.

This is the story of MC Ren and the growth of his career that never fully materialized. The REAL Reason MC Ren Never Became A Hip Hop SUPERSTAR
