Maybe a dumb question: What is a "scene rip"? Since this is an only-on-vinyl release, it's a recording from someone who has the vinyl? I am also interested in links for both "The Chronic" and "Compton" instrumental version, since it's sold out unfortunately.

A scene rip is when some über nerd rips something and releases it on usenet before anyone else had it and then returns to his mothers basement and jerks himself off.
