The song "Where'd You Go" by Fort Minor is a great song. You hear Jay-Z talking at the end of the song, but he doesn't perform on it (thank God). So I knew he did some work with those guys, but I've never heard it. Maybe I'll give it a chance if you have a song to suggest.

it was basically a mash up album

Okay.. I remember this. Probably would be dope without Jay-Z.
Reminds a bit of that album that Xzibit appeared on that was pretty dope. Do you remember the mashup album by some beatmakers, it had a few bangers and Xzibit's joint was one of them? But the sound was a bit like this and came out around the same time

no that's not it.. they had a nice music video in 01' it was just a bunch of DJ's like on a stage. Then Xzibit had a nice song on the album. Damn, I can't remember, but I think Fort Minor was on the album too
