Criminally overlooked because it’s not particularly well-known but those on here have most likely come across Vontel’s ‘Vision of a Dream’ album which is a real diamond in the rough G-funk classic, with Battlecat beats and Roger Troutman talkbox features.

Seemingly the guy just disappeared after making this one album back in 1997/98 which just adds to the mystique and quality of the whole thing (I think I read somewhere he got locked up for a long ass time).

If you’ve yet to hear it you won’t be disappointed when you take a listen 8)

Sccit:
young ed - time 2 stack

HighEyeCue:
Tash - Rap Life

i don't think its overlooked. i'm sure most of the g-funk and west coast fans are aware of that album and appriciate it. maybe its overlooked by vontel's himself and industry.
